I wish there were multiple streaming services for movies like there are for music. There are a bunch of different music streaming services; Rdio, Spotify, Google Music, Amazon Music, Napster, Rhapsody, Pandora, Last.FM and I’m sure that I’m missing a lot more however there are only a few movie streaming services. After Netflix hiked there prices I realized that I never actually watch the DVD’s that get mailed to me but it was a nice addition to the streaming service. However since switching plans to streaming only have I realized that most of the movies that I want to watch aren’t available for streaming due to the movie studios. The only other option that I could think of that you would be able to access on most devices would be Hulu+ but they also have very limited content and you still have to watch adds even after you have paid for the service and you dont get there whole catalog of content. I wouldn’t mind the occasional add if it meant keeping the service down but I just want more content. I just think we need more options for pay services that will allow you to stream newer movies for a monthly fee. I know I would be will to pay more a month if I was able to get new release I don’t care about not owning the content because for the most part the movies that come out aren’t that good and the ones that I do want I will buy on blu-ray and more than likely also get a digital copy. Maybe we need a service like Napster that makes it easy for even mainstream users to download movies that will force the movie industry to open up for better content deals.
